The Echizen Daibutsu is Japan's largest Buddha statue, built by the founder of a local taxi company. The five-story pagoda located within the temple where the Buddha statue is enshrined is also the largest in Japan. This overwhelmingly powerful Buddha statue is definitely worth seeing!
