This lavender field boasts the largest area in Hokkaido and features lovely flowers that bloom each season in addition to lavender. The blooming period for lavender is generally from late June to early August. Be sure to try the lavender soft serve and lavender sweets made with lavender extract!

At Farm Tomita's vast grounds, over 10 fields are prepared, where you can enjoy the stunning views created by over 150 types of flowers from spring to autumn. Among the many fields, the most famous is the "Colorful Field," which is made up of six different types of flowers. You can enjoy a beautiful view like a rainbow painting drawn in a sketchbook. Pathways that people can walk on are also provided between each field, making it possible to take beautiful photos surrounded by flowers.

Accessible by Walking from the Nearest Station
The nearest station to Farm Tomita is JR Nakafurano Station. It's about a 5-minute taxi ride or a slightly longer 25-minute walk from the station. During the lavender season in summer, you can also access the farm by walking 7 minutes from "Lavender Farm Station," a stop on the Furano-Biei Norokko train that only operates during this season. To get to Nakafurano Station, take the JR train from Sapporo Station for a minimum of 2 hours and 35 minutes, or from Asahikawa Station for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Large parking lot that can accommodate 500 cars
Farm Tomita has a large parking lot that can accommodate approximately 500 cars. Parking is free and available 24 hours a day, which is a great advantage. However, as it is a large parking lot, it's important to be careful not to forget where you parked your car. In addition, during the evening rush hour, the road leading to the main road becomes very congested, so it's recommended to allow plenty of time for travel.
