The Mori Shogun Museum of Art is an art museum renovated from the residence of the chief village headman of Tsuwano Domain. It exhibits the works of Akira Nakao, a Western-style painter and poet from Tsuwano, and his wife, Maya Yoshikura, a Western-style painter. Admission is free, and visitors can see Nakao's series "Women in the Woods" and Yoshikura's large work "Women of the Seine" (No. 200). The building was restored from the residence of the chief village headman with beautiful red tiles and white walls from the Edo period, and the spacious exhibition room has a folk-style space with thick beams. The garden is also beautiful, with seasonal flowers blooming in the Mori Shogun Museum of Art Garden.
