Tamatsukuri Onsen is one of Japan's oldest hot springs and has long been known as a "hot spring for beautiful skin". The water quality is weakly alkaline and colorless, with a high concentration of metasilicic acid, which is said to give the skin moisture and luster. The hot spring town is dotted with spots known for their beautifying effects, and in particular, the "Ryugu no Yu" 100% natural hot spring at "Yunosato Nagaraku" boasts a rich supply of hot water. Near "Tamatsukuri Yujin Shrine", there is also the "Jizo-sama of Seiganji Temple", famous for its prayers for beautiful skin. Inside Tamatsukuri Onsen, there is a large public bath called "Kobe Yudono", where you can relax in a spacious area that can accommodate up to 200 people at once. The bath features "Iwao no Yu", which makes ample use of natural rocks, and "Hinoki no Yu", which is characterized by the scent of Japanese cypress and a soft texture that is gentle on the skin. The beautifying effects of Tamatsukuri Onsen are recognized by many, and many travelers visit in search of beautiful skin!
