Okkirikomi

Okkirikomi is a local dish from Gunma prefecture, made by simmering wide fresh noodles and seasonal fresh vegetables with miso or soy sauce. The soup becomes thick because the noodles, which are made without salt, are cooked in it. There are no particular restrictions on the seasoning or ingredients, so why not try comparing the unique flavors of different shops when you visit as a tourist!
