Obuse Chestnuts

Obuse is a town of chestnuts. The distinctive acidic soil and the climate of Northern Shinshu produce delicious chestnuts that are second to none. In addition to the classics such as sweet bean paste with chestnuts, chestnut rice cake, and Mont Blanc for Western sweets, there are various other sweets and dishes.
