Yakushima Toro

This is a high-quality toro made only from the rare yam "Daijo" grown in Yakushima. It has a strong stickiness and fine texture comparable to that of nagaimo, and its sweetness spreads softly on the tongue. It has a taste that never gets old, and is an excellent accompaniment to rice that makes you want to have seconds and thirds.
