Firefly Squid

Toyama Bay is the only place where fixed net fishing for firefly squid is practiced. You can enjoy freshly caught sashimi when it's in season. The outside is firm, and the inside is soft and creamy. It's also a classic to eat boiled firefly squid with vinegar miso. In addition, you can enjoy various ways of eating, such as "okizuke" (marinated in vinegar), sushi, and Italian cuisine.
