Morning market starts at 7am. There are tourist souvenirs and local food items for sale, and you can buy and eat while walking around, but since we arrived at 10 o'clock, it was crowded. Still, the plump sweetfish skewers, the warm bottled pudding, and the morning set from Kajibashi Coffee, the host's warm coffee shop with a nice view on the second floor near the entrance, were delicious. The restroom facing the sidewalk of "Hida Takayama Nigiwai Exchange Center Taisei", which is just across the bridge over the Miyagawa River, is new and is recommended with a heated toilet seat.
