Mito areaとは
Mito is a town that has prospered since ancient times as a castle town of the Mito domain, one of the three Tokugawa shogunate families. One of Japan's three famous gardens, "Kairakuen Garden," famous for its Mito Komon and plum blossoms, is the most popular spot in Mito! The "National Hitachi Seaside Park" is also the venue for the summer festival "ROCK IN JAPAN," which attracts famous artists, and the seasonal flower gardens such as nemophila and kokia, which spread over a magnificent site, are very popular for photography. Local gourmet foods such as Mito natto, angler hot pot, Kasama inari sushi, and Hitachi beef are also recommended, so be sure to enjoy them!◎
