Access

Access in about 20 minutes by car from Tsuruoka IC!
When using public transportation to access Hakusan Island, take the Shonai Kotsu bus "Atsumi Onsen" from JR Tsuruoka Station and get off at the Yura Post Office bus stop, which takes about 45 minutes. From the bus stop, it's about a 3-minute walk to Hakusan Island. If you're using a car, take National Route 7 via Tsuruoka IC on the Yamagata Expressway, and you'll arrive at Hakusan Island in about 12 kilometers or about 20 minutes. Both methods are relatively convenient for access, and you can visit by various means of transportation. Access in your preferred way to enjoy the nature and scenery of Hakusan Island.
