Access

Access in 20 Minutes by Car from Tsuruoka IC!
If you're using public transportation to get to Yura Onsen, take the Shonai Kotsu bus bound for Atsumi Onsen from JR Tsuruoka Station. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Yura Onsen Bus Stop, and then it's about a 5-minute walk to the hot spring area. Alternatively, take the same Shonai Kotsu bus bound for Tsuruoka Station from JR Atsumi Onsen Station, get off at Yura Onsen Bus Stop, and walk to the hot spring area. If you're driving, take National Route 7 via Tsuruoka IC on the Yamagata Expressway and you'll arrive at Yura Onsen in about 20 minutes, covering a distance of about 13 km. Follow the road signs and you can use the parking lot near the hot spring area. Both methods are relatively convenient, and even if you use public transportation, the walking distance from the bus stop is short, so you can arrive at Yura Onsen relatively smoothly.
