Chigataki

This waterfall boasts a dynamic beauty with a maximum drop of 20 meters in Karuizawa. A promenade has been developed around the waterfall, allowing visitors to enjoy the natural surroundings along the stream while soaking up plenty of negative ions. Along the gently flowing stream, there are water play areas and bridges overlooking the stream. It takes about a 30-minute walk from the parking lot to reach the waterfall. Although it is less well-known than the "Shiraito Falls," it is known as a hidden gem and is recommended for those who want to avoid crowds.
