Roadside Station Shodoshima Olive Park

When strolling through the Olive Garden on Shodoshima Island, it's recommended to set aside about 40 minutes for a 15-20 minute walk through the garden and an additional 15-20 minutes for shopping or resting. Within the garden, there are various attractions such as Isamu Noguchi's playground sculptures, Japan's oldest olive tree, and an olive experience space, as well as restaurants and gift shops. Those who want to take their time can enjoy the garden even more by allocating extra time.

The main means of transportation for getting around Shodoshima Island are cars and buses. You can access Shodoshima Olive Park easily by either method, so you can rest assured. If you come by car, rent a car from the port you arrive at and head to the park. Parking is also available. If you take the bus, it's a great access as you can arrive by getting off at the "Olive Park Entrance" on the Sakate Line and Minami-mawari Fukuda Line and walking for 5 minutes.
