Tamba-Sasayamaとは
Tamba-Sasayama has a history of prospering as a transportation hub since ancient times, and its townscapes and culture reflect the strong influence of Kyoto, making it a charming city. One of the most famous spots is the ruins of Takeda Castle, located at an altitude of about 350m on Mt. Kojo. If the conditions are right, a fantastic sea of clouds can be seen from the castle tower, which is an impressive sight. In addition, Tamba chestnuts, Tamba black beans, and matsutake mushrooms are local specialties of Tamba-Sasayama, and delicious gourmet dishes made with these ingredients are also available.
