Takaoka, Himiとは
Takaoka is an area filled with historical romance, including the "Okamoto Cave Ruins," said to be the first cave dwelling discovered in Japan, and the "Takaoka Great Buddha," one of the three great Buddhas of Japan. Himi, facing Toyama Bay, is a great place to enjoy fresh seafood such as yellowtail and scallops. Himi Kanburi
The king of Toyama Bay, Himi Kanburi.
"Himi Kanburi" is strictly managed as a brand, with fishing methods and size and weight standards. Those that do not meet the standards are excluded. It can be boiled or grilled, and of course, it is delicious as sashimi.
Himi Udon
Thin and chewy hand-stretched udon.
Hand-stretched production method, which is said to take several times longer than the usual hand-made method. As a result, the noodles of Himi Udon are thin and flat. When boiled, they are shiny and have a moderately chewy texture. They can be enjoyed with a smooth texture whether served hot or cold.
Himi Beef
A superb black-haired Japanese beef known only to a few.
The reason for its deliciousness, which rivals that of famous brand meats, is that it is raised in a lush environment where it can grow freely. Black Ramen
A jet-black soy sauce ramen known as Toyama Black.
After World War II, Black Ramen was created as a source of salt replenishment for manual laborers. The original "Daiki" has thick noodles and a rich soup that sticks to them, with a taste that becomes addictive. It is recommended to have it with white rice.
