If you want to fully enjoy the famous hot springs of Gero Onsen, we recommend the "Yumeguri Tegata" (hot spring pass). With one pass, you can bathe in three hot springs of your choice from among the participating inns. When visiting Gero Onsen, be sure to purchase the "Yumeguri Tegata". One pass can be purchased for 1,300 yen including tax and is valid for six months from the date of purchase. To fully enjoy the charm of Gero Onsen, take the "Yumeguri Tegata" and embark on a journey to explore the famous hot springs.

Access to Gero Onsen
Gero Onsen is located in Gero City, Gifu Prefecture, and the nearest station is Gero Station on the JR Tokai Takayama Main Line. Gero Station is the gateway to Gero Onsen and all trains, including limited express trains, stop there. For those considering access from Tokyo, Osaka, or Nagoya to Gero Onsen, we recommend using the Shinkansen or highway bus to travel to Nagoya Station. The transfer from Nagoya Station to Gero Station is smooth, allowing for a comfortable journey. By car, there are various routes available. The first route is to take the Chuo Expressway from "Nakatsugawa IC," pass through Route 257, and run on the Ura-Kiso Kaido. You can enjoy the scenery of the Satoyama while driving comfortably, and the required time is about 1 hour. The second route is to use the Heisei Koubai Road, which passes through Prefectural Road 58 and Route 41, from "Tomioka IC" on the Tokai Loop Expressway. It's an easy-to-drive road that passes through the mountains, and the required time is about 1 hour and 10 minutes. The third route is to take the Hokuriku Expressway from "Gujo Hachiman IC," pass through Route 256 and Route 41, and head to Gero Onsen. After crossing the Horikoshi Pass, the road continues flat through the Satoyama. The required time is about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Access by car will provide a comfortable journey while enjoying the scenery. It's accessible by both car and train, so please come and visit.

旧館に泊まりました。旧館の建物が坂に添うように造られている為に段々畑の様に斜めになり、エレベーターの大きさの、小さなケーブルカーが2基あり移動します。新館は普通の縦長の建物が旧館の8階に増築の形で繋がっています。お風呂は旧館の2階と8階.食事は全員が旧館の2階の為、ケーブルカーはキャパオーバー。若者達は、諦めて階段で移動。ビュッフェタイプの食事は内容は普通ですが郷土料理の朴葉焼き等がありました。スタッフが空いた皿をどんどん回収に来て、落ち着いて食べれません。しかし、温泉は名高い下呂温泉、少しヌメリがあり肌には良いそうです。部屋にもユニットバスがありましたが必要無いと思いました。自販機のペットボトルは全て220円でした(水も)。妻が足の小指をドアにぶつけてびっこをひいていたら湿布とハサミを走って届けてくださいました。フロントや、売店のスタッフの対応は気持ちの良いものがあり、教育のレベルの高さを感じました。

3/29から花火目当てに1泊で利用させていただきました。 チェックインの際に対応していただいた女性フロントマンの方が明るく丁寧で、その時点でかなりホテルに対して好印象でした。 花火が目当てだったので、お部屋は街側の禁煙室を利用させていただきました。畳の匂いと下呂の街の夜景を堪能できるいいお部屋でした。 フロントマンの方から事前に「街の景色が楽しめるお部屋になっている」と説明を受けていたので、明るい時間の景色はもちろん夜のライトが煌めく街の様子もしっかりと鑑賞させていただきました。高台にあるので街が一望でき、個人的に連れ含めお部屋の満足度は高かったのですが、季節的なものか少し乾燥していたので空気清浄機に加湿機能があれば嬉しいです。 夕食はお部屋でいただいたのですが幸せになれるくらいの品数で、お部屋食あるあるだと思うのですが冷めてて美味しくない!なんてこともなく……。郷土料理の朴葉味噌を味わわせていただき、久しぶりにお腹が苦しくて幸せな体験をさせていただきました。 そして大浴場ですが、一度花火前に入浴を済ませた後、人の居ない深夜帯にも利用させていただきました。明るい時間に外の露天で街並みを眺めるも良し、暗くなってから下呂の夜景を眺めるも良し。景観に関してもお湯の温度に関しても文句なしで素晴らしかったです。 下呂方面に旅行に訪れるのは初めてでしたが、また機会があれば再訪させていただきたいと思える宿泊地でした。お世話になりました。

〜2025.3上旬〜 寒波と雨の影響で雪は降っていないもののまだまだ寒い☔JR下呂駅から近いけど急な坂の上に立地してるので歩いて登るのは大変〜でも景色は良い 夕食は17:30と19:00の2部制 朝食は7:00と7:30と8:00の3部制 早めにチェックインしたので選べた✨️ ローストビーフやサイコロステーキ🥩お刺身お寿司🍣焼き鳥や朴葉みそ焼き、小鉢に中華もありそこまで品数は多くなかったけどどれもしっかり作られてて満足😋カルパッチョのサーモンgood! 何よりお酒も飲み放題&セルフなので濃さや混ぜものをアレンジできるのが良かった🍺🍷🥃 朝食は出汁巻きとパンが特に美味しかった🥐 お風呂は2階と8階の2カ所 2階はサウナ(ドライ約90度定員5人)とジャグジーあり、露天は空が見える&雨除けなし 8階は内湯、露天、桶湯♨景色が良い🌃雨除けあるが隙間から落ちてくる 夜からアルメリアショー(新館7階)が始まるので近隣の部屋は音が気になると思う🪇 館内wifi感度良し📶 時期的に学生や海外の宿泊客が多かった
