Highlights

Point 1

The Allure of Owakudani, where you can feel the breath of volcanic activity

Owakudani Onsen The Allure of Owakudani, where you can feel the breath of volcanic activity
Owakudani Onsen is a scenic spot created by the eruption of the Hakone volcano. While the surrounding mountains are covered in various plants and trees throughout the seasons, Owakudani is a barren and desolate place where white smoke rises without any vegetation. It's full of the allure of nature where you can feel the breath of volcanic activity. The white smoke and vast land viewed from the ropeway are a must-see scenery in Owakudani. You can also taste local specialties such as black eggs. It's important to pay attention to safety information as there is a possibility of sudden changes due to volcanic activity.
Point 2

Expect Beautiful Skin Effects from the Effective Hot Springs

Owakudani Onsen Expect Beautiful Skin Effects from the Effective Hot Springs
Owakudani, where hot springs gush out, has little plant growth due to the inclusion of acidic gas, and the rocks have become like clay. However, the feature is that effective hot springs gush out instead. It is an acidic sulfuric chloride spring, and it is expected to have a beautiful skin effect such as sterilization, moisturizing, and metabolism. It is conveniently accessible by bus from Hakone-Yumoto Station, known as the gateway to Hakone, in just 20 minutes. For those who care about their skin, both men and women, or those who want to heal their daily fatigue, please try taking a bath in the hot springs.
Point 3

Enjoy Nature Study Paths and Hiking Trails

There are also bus tours and ropeway tours around Owakudani for tourists. Choose a tour that fits your schedule and budget, and explore the nature study paths and hiking trails while feeling the breath of nature.
Point 4

The "Kurotamago-kan" located in Owakudani, a popular tourist spot in the area, sells black eggs. There are also many restaurants and souvenir shops in the Owakudani area where you can purchase black eggs and other local specialties.
