Nihara Cave boasts the largest scale in the Kanto region. In this cave, you can experience a world of natural beauty, such as the Enmusubi Kannon and Gama rock. Near the Shide no Yama area, the cave is lit up in seven colors, including red, blue, and yellow, creating a fantastic and impressive atmosphere.

Access

40 Minutes from JR Okutama Station

Nippara Limestone Cave is a scenic spot where you can feel the nature that you wouldn't expect from Tokyo, located about 40 minutes from the nearest JR Okutama Station. From the station, take the Nishi Tokyo Bus "Shonyudo" and get off at the "Shonyudo" bus stop, then it's a 5-minute walk to the cave. On weekends and holidays, use the "Higashi Nippara" line. In this case, be aware that it takes about 20 minutes to walk from the nearest station. There is a free parking lot at the cave, so if you visit by car, it is recommended to use it.
