Access

Recommended to Walk or Take the Bus from Mitaka Station

The Mitaka Ghibli Museum is best accessed by walking from either JR Mitaka Station or JR Kichijoji Station. It takes about 15 minutes from the south exit of JR Mitaka Station and about 20 minutes from the park exit of JR Kichijoji Station. Along the way from Mitaka Station to the museum, there are many cute signs that can serve as landmarks. Additionally, if you use the community bus that runs from JR Mitaka Station, you can arrive at the museum entrance in about 5 minutes.
