There are two main ways to access Hiyoshi Taisha Shrine in Shiga Prefecture while enjoying the beautiful and abundant nature: public transportation and car. If using public transportation, the nearest station is Sakamoto Biwako Hamaotsu Station on the Keihan Ishiyama Sakamoto Line. From Sanjo Keihan Station, transfer to the Tozai Subway Line and Otsu Line, then transfer to the Ishiyama Sakamoto Line towards Sakamoto Hieizanguchi Station, and head towards the final station, Sakamoto Hieizanguchi Station on the Keihan Ishiyama Sakamoto Line. It takes about 40 minutes from Sanjo Keihan Station. If using a car, take the Biwako West Vertical Road, Nishi-Otsu Bypass, and Route 161 from the Kyoto area, which takes about 35 minutes. However, the required time may vary depending on the traffic conditions. Hiyoshi Taisha Shrine is located at the foot of Mt.
