Outdoor Observatory with a View to Feel the Wind on Your Skin

At Tsutenkaku Tower, there are two outdoor observatories: the "Observation Paradise," which offers unobstructed views from the top of the tower, and the "TIP THE TSUTENKAKU," which is a protruding observation deck. The "Observation Paradise" is located at the top of the tower and offers a view without any obstructions or reflections from windows. It's recommended for those who want to enjoy the view as it is. The "TIP THE TSUTENKAKU" is for those who want to experience the sensation of floating in the air. You can enjoy the thrill and excitement on the transparent floor at the tip of the tower. The fee for both "Observation Paradise" and "TIP THE TSUTENKAKU" is 300 yen for high school students and above, and 200 yen for children from 5 years old to junior high school students.

The general observatory of Tsutenkaku has two floors: the 5th and the 4th. Both are observatories, but the atmosphere inside the building is completely different. "TOWER SLIDER" is a new type of attraction where you can slide from the 22m high ground to the first floor in about 10 seconds. You can enjoy the excitement of sliding down the outer circumference of the EV tower at once! Another attractive point is that you can look up at Tsutenkaku while sliding. It's an attraction that both children and adults can enjoy. High school students to 65-year-olds can use it for 1000 yen, and 7-year-olds to junior high school students can use it for 500 yen.

Observatory Admission Fee for High School Students and Above is 900 Yen

The admission fee for the general observatory at Tsutenkaku is 900 yen for high school students and above, and 400 yen for children between 5 years old and middle school students. If you only want to enjoy the indoor view, purchasing this ticket is sufficient. While there is an outdoor observatory and TOWER SLIDER within Tsutenkaku, please note that they require separate fees and cannot be used with the general observatory admission fee. For those visiting Tsutenkaku on weekdays, it is recommended to purchase web tickets for a discounted price. Tickets that include the outdoor observatory are also available, so it's a must-see for those who want to use the outdoor observatory as well!

Tsutenkaku Tower: Symbol of Osaka's Shinsekai District

Tsutenkaku Tower is the symbol of Osaka's Shinsekai district. The fifth floor serves as an observation deck, offering views of the cityscape of Naniwa. Additionally, the golden Billiken statue greets visitors, and it is said that rubbing the soles of its feet brings good luck. When you visit Tsutenkaku Tower, be sure to give it a try. In fact, the current Tsutenkaku Tower is the second generation, standing at a height of 103 meters. The first Tsutenkaku Tower was 64 meters tall and was dismantled due to a fire. However, as demands for local reconstruction grew, it was decided that the tower would be rebuilt 39 meters taller than the original, becoming a prominent landmark in Osaka. The current Tsutenkaku Tower features a round neon sign at the top, serving the role of indicating tomorrow's weather.
