『抒情小曲集』で有名な、室生犀星の旧居があると知り、訪れました。舗装されていない細い道を進むと、見事な苔の別荘宅のような家屋がありました。管理されている方がちょうど生け花を飾りにいらっしゃっていました。周辺ではやちょやリスなどの小動物を見かけます。私以外に2、3人が入れ替わりのように訪れていましたが、とても静かで落ち着いた雰囲気でした。正面には雰囲気に溶け込んだカフェがあり、そちらの利用もお勧めです。車では入れません。
